Port Royal Golf
Course: Situated in some of Bermuda's most lush and
beautiful Oceanside terrain, Port Royal is a popular and challenging
golf course. No matter where you look, the genius of architect
Robert Trent Jones is evident. Here, a freedom green, set
against the turquoise sea; there, a gracefully winding fairway
skirting the coral cliffs. Watch out for well-trapped greens and
bunkered fairways and give the whole course your full attention.

over 6,565 yards. Opened
for play in 1970, and is more than adequate evidence of the genius of
architect Robert Trent Jones. The course provides an ideal test of
golf - reward for good shots and penalty for bad ones. Playing from
the back tees, this par 71 course challenges even the finest players
from the first to the 18th hole.
It hosts many tournaments. Sunset golf is from 4:00 pm with a
reservation.
Between the first and
eighteenth are some of the finest golf holes to be found anywhere. The
par-three 16th has become the most famous in all of Bermuda golf. A
ball hooked here ends up in no less a water hazard than the Atlantic
Ocean.
